Mira is 1

10 days past her due date and after 43 hours of labor, Mira Mae arrived to us a year ago! Just on time! We can't believe she is 1!

At 1, Mira loves her books and her stuffed animals. Those are 2 of her favorite things. She often sits in her room and pulls out all of her stuffed animals, surrounding herself with them and holding and studying them.

She is a busy bee these days and is all over the house. She loves to play with her balls and will bat them around following them around the house. She enjoys playing catch and seems to get the concept of it.

She continues to eat and sleep well. She seems to love lots of foods, but right now her favorites tend to be blueberries, cheese, cheerios, pizza, pasta and pretty much any meat. She'll also gobble down avocado, black beans, hummus, potatoes... the list goes on!

She is taking more and more steps so I think any day now she will be off and walking! She is jabbering quite a bit (in her soft spoken way) but she does say, momma, dadda and ace. She usually couples saying Ace with a wave. I think it is because I usually tell her to "say hi to Ace" and I wave. Now she thinks Ace always needs a wave. :) I guess he deserves it taking her climbing all over him.
